I am very disappointed with the way this order was handled.
I placed my order on December 27, at a time when Biktrix was still actively accepting purchases and presenting delivery timelines (7-10 days or so) as if they were reliable.
Only afterward was I informed about “factory closures” and delays which end up with a delivery on 26th Jan).
If delays were inevitable, then the delivery schedule should have been accurate from the start. Accepting orders while knowing the timelines are unrealistic is misleading to say the least.
Customers should not have to absorb poor planning under the blanket excuse of “post-pandemic issues" so i hqve been served as an explanation. Transparency matters in order to maintain business credibility and custoners services oriented and, especially for high-value purchases.
I expected clearer communication and more professional logistics management. I am greatly disappointed.
The overall quality of the bike suits me and meet my requirements though.
