Juggernaut Ultra Duo 2 SO

I am really enjoying riding my new Juggernaut Ultra Duo 2 Step-Over. It has been 5 years since I have had ridden a bike. My old English 10 speed with the skinny tires got ruined in a flood and I never replaced it until now. I carefully investigated many of the available E-Bikes and listened carefully to many of the reviews on Biktrix Bikes. I made a decision to buy one and very happy that I did. Power assist is a different feel, and I am taking is slowly as recommended. The Biktix staff has been most helpful and you can't ask for more than that. I highly recommend getting your E-Bike from this company.

Received the unit put it together. No issues powered it on had a throthle stuck fault. Waited 24hrs for response how to proceed. Got that sorted. Took it for the first ride and the rear casset came loose and the low gears spin freely and the rest of the gears a vary loose. Was sent out a part to have repairs done and instructed to bring to a local bike shop and have repaired with a 50 dollar credit(which I have not received to date) which is fine except shops are booking into middle of June. So o basically spent over 4k on a boat anchor.

Only had the bike out a couple of times. The weather has not been great here in April. Loving the bike so far. Time will tell. climbing hills and Head winds are a thing of the past. Looking forward to Summer.

Got my bike less than 10 days after ordering and had all my questions answered along the way. Bike showed up as ordered and operated great right out of the box. I opted for the 11 speed and Wren hub. I’m looking forward to riding into work this summer. Overall, this bike is a blast to drive and is very well put together. Cheers !

Bike had no damage and was packed nice. The chocolate pearl is different but for the price i can live with it. Both tires were almost flat and rear fender bolt on frame was not tightened but easy fixes. Assembly was simple and bike feels lighter than my Juggernaut classic duo step-over, may be the 27.5x 3 tires versus 26x4 on the classic duo. Rear derailer will need to be indexed but shifts smooth and brakes although they are Biktrix brand work well and no noise. Motor is much noisier on this bike than i expected, may just need greased more. Torque sensor is taking some time to get used to versus cadence on my other Biktrix bike. In sport mode or using throttle this bike will move. Very comfortable riding bike with plenty of adjustability. The brake light is a nice touch versus just a tail light. Only 58 miles in 2 rides so far but for the price was a great deal.

My only disappointment at this time is the headlight. Biktrix should offer some options between the 100 lumen basic light and the 2000 lumen Armageddon. 100 lumen is only good to be seen. In order to see the road without blinding other drivers, an 800 lumen would be a good compromise and more affordable than the Armageddon.

I feel like the drivetrain needs to be beefed up. I took a ride after assembly and the chain was skipping in the highest gears. Durring my ride i rode up a steep hill in first gear and the chain snapped. Biktrix did send out a new chain after i contacted them. When i put the new chain on upon inspection the cassette has a few bent and broken teeth on gears 1,2,7,8,9.

I spent hours on the Biktrix website comparing the various models and alternative features of the models. I decided the Ultra Duo was the most affordable and best fit for me. Since it arrived I have ridden it on gravel and pavement and dirt pathways. It handles well in all environments. I really enjoy the ride. While I still have much to learn about the features I know that I will get many happy miles out of this beauty. Also glad that I sprung for the Biktrix A-bar and the comfort grips.

The bike engineer says there's a defect and the Front fort and it has to be replaced making a loud noise. Waiting Your service department to reply to my bike mechanic. Not happy
