Batteries are one of those things that you usually do not want to skimp on. We never hear anyone complaining that they get too much range from a charge. This is why we recommend getting the biggest battery you can afford.

Biktrix is proud to offer some of the largest ebike batteries on the market. Even when you pick our smallest battery option, it is often much larger than the largest offered by our competitors.

A good way to estimate approximate ride time is as follows:

  1. Calculate/check the Wh (Watt-hour) rating of the battery. This is V x Ah. Eg. 52V x 10Ah = 520Wh
  2. Check the wattage of the motor on the bike you’re considering. Eg. 500W
  3. This means that if you had to use this 500W bike at full power with a 520Wh battery, you would get roughly 520Wh/500W = ~1hour of riding.

[Batteries are like energy tanks on an eBike. Using our high capacity automotive-grade cell Battery Packs ensures that you can travel longer distances without the need for frequent recharges. Since batteries take time to recharge, buying the largest capacity that you can afford would be the best idea.

An eBike battery is usually specced using Voltage & Amp-hours (V&Ah), therefore while comparing specs between the two batteries with the same voltage rating compare the Ah (Amp-hour) rating between them, since more Ah = more capacity.

While buying a DUO bike we highly recommend not missing the opportunity of buying a Range Extender which also functions as a Standby Spare in case the primary battery is not charged or fails.]

Note that you likely won’t be using 100% power (500W) all the time, this means you would get more range if you use lesser power.

The stock headlights on Biktrix eBike's work great and allow the rider to be seen. If you plan on riding after dusk however, we highly recommend upgrading to an Armageddon headlight which turns night into day for riding. This is particularly handy for anyone who commutes in the evenings or rides off road in places not well lit.

Seatpost
 

Suspension seatposts offer great riding comfort as they absorb many of the imperfections on the road/trail.

***Adding a suspension seatpost to your eBike will increase the minimum seatpost height by 75mm/3" to 150mm/6"

In most places, 500w (32kmph/20mph) is the street-legal setting and for many casual riders is lots of power to get you where you are going.

If you are riding off-road, on private land, you may want to consider the unlock option to get the most power out of your motor.

 

**Note that the onus is on you, the rider, to determine whether it is legal to ride an ebike where you intend to ride it. Biktrix will not be held liable if the rider decides to break local laws by riding an ebike illegally.

Inclusions

This package can be purchased within 30 Days from the date of delivery or while placing the eBike order whichever is earlier. BiktrixCare+ will cover the following list of eBike parts for manufacturing defects under the respective packages. BiktrixCare+ Gold is transferable once from the original buyer to another person subject to notifying the transfer of ownership to BEB.

*Motors

BEB will request to ship the motor to the Service Centre if the defect is fixable. Labour and parts cost is included in the motor service at BEB’s Service Centre. If the defect is unfixable BEB will issue a refurbished replacement. Shipping charges are excluded for the motor service. For Hub-Motors the maximum liability is the cost of the motor.

**Cancellation & Refund

BiktrixCare+ alone cannot be cancelled or refunded once the bike has been shipped. If the bike is returned under the first 14-day return window for a refund, 100% of the amount paid for this package would be refunded. If BEB decides to sever all relations with an owner under Section 19 this package would be deemed terminated with no refund
