Batteries are one of those things that you usually do not want to skimp on. We never hear anyone complaining that they get too much range from a charge. This is why we recommend getting the biggest battery you can afford.

Biktrix is proud to offer some of the largest ebike batteries on the market. Even when you pick our smallest battery option, it is often much larger than the largest offered by our competitors.

A good way to estimate approximate ride time is as follows:

  1. Calculate/check the Wh (Watt-hour) rating of the battery. This is V x Ah. Eg. 52V x 10Ah = 520Wh
  2. Check the wattage of the motor on the bike you’re considering. Eg. 500W
  3. This means that if you had to use this 500W bike at full power with a 520Wh battery, you would get roughly 520Wh/500W = ~1hour of riding.

[Batteries are like energy tanks on an eBike. Using our high capacity automotive-grade cell Battery Packs ensures that you can travel longer distances without the need for frequent recharges. Since batteries take time to recharge, buying the largest capacity that you can afford would be the best idea.

An eBike battery is usually specced using Voltage & Amp-hours (V&Ah), therefore while comparing specs between the two batteries with the same voltage rating compare the Ah (Amp-hour) rating between them, since more Ah = more capacity.

While buying a DUO bike we highly recommend not missing the opportunity of buying a Range Extender which also functions as a Standby Spare in case the primary battery is not charged or fails.]

Note that you likely won’t be using 100% power (500W) all the time, this means you would get more range if you use lesser power.

In most places, 500w (32kmph/20mph) is the street-legal setting and for many casual riders is lots of power to get you where you are going.

If you are riding off-road, on private land, you may want to consider the unlock option to get the most power out of your motor.

 

**Note that the onus is on you, the rider, to determine whether it is legal to ride an ebike where you intend to ride it. Biktrix will not be held liable if the rider decides to break local laws by riding an ebike illegally.

Seatpost
 

Add a Suspension Seatpost for a more cushioned ride, or a Dropper Seatpost to adjust your seat height to different riding conditions on the go!

**Adding a dropper seatpost will increase the minimum seat height by 25mm/1" or more, adding a suspension seatpost will increase the minimum seat height by 75mm/3" to 150mm/6"

Biktrix eBikes are designed with modern riders’ habits and demands in mind. So while our high quality stock suspension forks are sufficient on normal surfaces with an occasional mix of trail riding, you can choose a fork based on your riding style and needs. For example, Inverted Forks and Wren Forks are best suited for off-roading or rides that involve rough trails.

The Stock suspension fork on most of our models is a coil-sprung suspension fork, meaning it has a spring housed within. If you are planning on riding more technical or across very rough off-road terrain, upgrading to an Air suspension fork is something to consider; they are more adjustable and offer a smoother ride.

Biktrix bikes are equipped with great brakes which are more than sufficient for most riders. However, if you plan on riding technical trails or have several descents on your daily ride, we offer a variety of brake upgrades which offer superior stopping power.

Unless otherwise stated, most Biktrix ebikes come standard with dual-piston hydraulic brakes. For heavier riders, folks who plan to haul more gear (ie: hunters), or anyone planning to ride over steep or technical terrain, the Quad piston brake upgrade is worth considering. Quad piston brakes have more stopping ability than the dual-piston (Quad piston brake upgrades not available on all models).

The stock headlights on Biktrix eBike's work great and allow the rider to be seen. If you plan on riding after dusk however, we highly recommend upgrading to an Armageddon headlight which turns night into day for riding. Inclusions

This package can be purchased within 30 Days from the date of delivery or while placing the eBike order whichever is earlier. BiktrixCare+ will cover the following list of eBike parts for manufacturing defects under the respective packages. BiktrixCare+ Gold is transferable once from the original buyer to another person subject to notifying the transfer of ownership to BEB.

*Motors

BEB will request to ship the motor to the Service Centre if the defect is fixable. Labour and parts cost is included in the motor service at BEB’s Service Centre. If the defect is unfixable BEB will issue a refurbished replacement. Shipping charges are excluded for the motor service. For Hub-Motors the maximum liability is the cost of the motor.

**Cancellation & Refund

BiktrixCare+ alone cannot be cancelled or refunded once the bike has been shipped. If the bike is returned under the first 14-day return window for a refund, 100% of the amount paid for this package would be refunded. If BEB decides to sever all relations with an owner under Section 19 this package would be deemed terminated with no refund
